On May 22, Community Options, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing and employment support to people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities, will host its annual Spring Golf Classic at
Union League Golf Club at Torresdale in Philadelphia, PA.
All of the proceeds benefit Community Options and the people it supports, with a goal set at over $100,000.
“Planning the annual golf event is always a joy; not only because the
weather is getting nicer, but because we have a great opportunity to
further assist the people we support,” said Community Options
Enterprises Board of Directors Trustee, Phil Lian. “The fact that we are
returning to the site of our first-ever golf outing from over 20 years
ago makes it all the more special. It’s even more special because the
entire clubhouse and course was upgraded to the highest of standards by
the Union League of Philadelphia. We look forward to a great event.”
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch served at 11 a.m. The
shotgun start will kick off the golf festivities at 12 p.m. At the
conclusion of the round, a dinner and award ceremony will be held around
