Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps to Perform at Washington Crossing Historic Park

memday-1500311606-6292In its 47th performance season, the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps of Plymouth, MI will soon embark on their 2017 Concert Tour. The Corps will visit the Washington Crossing Historic Park in Washington Crossing, PA on Monday, July 31, 2017. During their visit they will perform their 2017 Concert at 4:00 pm

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps’ annual summer Concert Tour has taken the Corps to many historical sites in the Eastern U.S. and Canada. The 2017 Concert Tour will also take the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps to Fort Ticonderoga in Ticonderoga, NY, Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD, National Night Out at Fort Meade near Baltimore, MD, and to Annapolis MD for performances at the Maryland State House and the U.S. Naval Academy Museum.

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps consists of students, ranging in age from 12 to 18. Their members are from Plymouth Michigan and its surrounding communities. The Corps prepares year round for their annual performance seasons. The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the ancient arts of color guard, fifing, and drumming through live performances at parades, historical and patriotic celebrations, concerts, cultural affairs, and other civic events.
