Learn from a pro! Portrait photographer Frank Veronsky teaches you how to compose your portraits to make them more interesting, how to capture the character of your subject and how to use outdoor and artificial light and backgrounds.
In the second, hands-on shooting workshop, we’ll discuss lens choices and work with natural and artificial light and posing. During the class, we will shoot in the studio and outdoors, if weather permits. Participants will take turns modeling and shooting for an important insight into the experience on both sides of the camera.
In the third, post-processing class, we’ll learn how Frank uses Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to make his portraits publication-quality. We will work with exposure, contrast and color corrections and learn tools and techniques for precision facial retouching. You will leave this class with useful information to take your portrait work to the next level.
Requirements: Laptop loaded with Photoshop Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC. Free trial versions available.
Participants must have a working knowledge of the Lightroom Import function and understand the basics of Lightroom and Photoshop.
