Join Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS), a nonprofit devoted to preservation and stewardship of land in Princeton, for “A Taste of Spring,” a benefit event at a private home in Princeton, New Jersey. The event includes a tour of a private garden landscaped with native plants, and a presentation about sustainable gardening from guest speaker, Holly Grace Nelson, Landscape Architect, to take place in a casual barn setting. In addition, FOPOS Natural Resource Manager, Jeff Geist, will speak about the current project to restore native plants and trees at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve, and lead a walk there afterward.
Wine, craft beer and light hors d’oeuvres will be served at the barn. $25 FOPOS Members/$50 Non-Members.*
